Oil in the bolt valleys of the lower intake?

I removed the upper intake and there was oil pooling in the inside bolt areas. I was told thats not good at all.....I was told that the lower intake could be cracked due to the last owner or so over tightening the bolts.... I'm seriously stuck. Any help will be greatly appreciated....Thanks
