Oil in Coolant overflow bottle

There is a retarded amount of oil in my coolant bottle. LIM gasket time? Also, GM or Fel Pro gaskets? Thanks for any help.

I go for the GM LIM gaskets, but that's just my .02

Either LIM or head gaskets. Pray it's LIM.

Neither Fel-Pro or GM. Get aluminum ones like the set I got from WBS. Also replace the coolant elbows while you're at it if you haven't already.

Wouldn't buy gaskets from vendors.

Cheaper elsewhere.

Get the aluminum fel-pro gasket. You'll need coolant elbow as well.

Most "mechanics" that don't know the 3.8 well say that but guranteed 99% it's the crappy plastic GM LIM gaskets gone for a ****!

I educated my local autozone guys about the coolant elbows.

Uh flepro perma dry plus are steel.

GM are aluminum.

but its cool, they're shiny, so lets call it aluminum.

I agree get the aluminum gasket's and go ahead and replace the coolant elbows. Stay away from the plastic based gaskets or you will just have this problem again down the road.
