oil consumption

My motor uses about 8oz in 4-5000 miles, I use 10-30 like is says on the filler cap, and use regular converntional oil. I bought the car used at 138,000 miles, and have all the records of the cars oil changes since new, and they were done on a 4-6000 mile intervals. The car is just now turning over 150,000 miles and runs perfect. Inside the engine is still super clean.
Already did the LIM gaskets a few thousand mile ago before they puked water into the motor, so I don't have to worry about that anymore. I did have to change the rear valve cover gasket a while ago, even with that small leak, it was hard to tell if it was using any oil at all.

Looks like a party to be had, I followed the wife tonight, and it looks like a damn 2-stroke. VAlve seals Monday, party, party. I'll tell ya what the ^!&$^^%#@ cost as soon as I pick up 2 packs of five.:th_shakinghead2:
