I came across summit motorsports park, and it seems that during the the day of 8/13 they're having their "Night under fire". Seems like a good time.

I just pm'd taz about his offer for a bonfire and the GM museum idea's. I'm awaiting a response. Taz are you refering to this?

As for places to eat, I'm going to have to rely on you guys/gals local to the ideas or other places to be listed. Of course suggestions are always welcome for anything else near-by.

Night Under Fire is pure badazz a meet there would be amazing anything else boring..... I will be there so any meet scheduled for this day is pointless to me.....

Do this next year as a huge event and I'd be down...I'm doing too much this year to get enough down to time to make it out there...

That sounds like a great idea as well. Maybe we could go there on the friday before or the sunday after the NUF? How does everyone feel about that?

We can do that for next year, but I was just trying to pitch something for this year. It seems that a decent crowd could make it for a meet this year, and we're trying to see if we can still have one.

I WILL BE going to the ohio meet. I'm game for whatever we do. I just want to go. So count me in for what ever :th_thumbsup-wink:

Need I say more, fireworks show's about as bad as you can get it. It's not New York or Red White and Boom but the NUF show is awesome and would be a fun fun day for everyone and their family........

I'm not trying to thread jack or dip into someone elses meet but this is where I will be Aug 13th!!!!

We could all meet up there around noon or so that would give us 7hrs before the show started. I mean come on nitro fuel funny cars, jet cars, wheel standers, jet kenworth, beer, food, $100 grand fireworks and bracket racing ALL night after the show's over for those who want to show us what their GP's really can do.....:th_laugh-lol3:
 
I happened to stumble up on to this post with an abundance of pages. However, I am most interested in attending an event in Ohio. Could someone who has stayed frequent on the duration of this thread give me the information of the meet? Through all of the various information, I have confused my self as to the date, time, and location. Also, I must ask, there isn't an age minimum for those who wish to attend is there? Thank you for your response and willingness to help.
