if it's the 5, 6,7 i won't be coming due to that being the same weekend as the pontiac nationals in Norwalk, ohio!!!

We did.

It was called the GPG...about 10 years ago.

I tried it and the guy that owned the rights to it wasn't having it, nor was happy with the idea I tried to "steal" it. It was in Kansas City...an entire weekend. GM brought the concept cars, you got to tour the Fairfax, KS plant where the car was being made at the time, and then followed by drag racing at Kansas City International Raceway.

You want a shot at it? More power to you if you can get it to work like they did. Planning something of that magnitude is WAY more difficult than you may think.
 
^^ and needs more than a few months to pull together properly, something like that takes a year of planning/organizing in order to ensure that its not just a 1 off thing
 
Just like Branson...and it wasn't half the size of the GPG was.

They started planning for the following year after the previous year.

September isn't THAT far away...or we can just start Branson GPDoomsday2012 for next year now?
