Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Oh $#!+

Just to start I'm a security officer and I work graveyard shift. So I get off work at 6:00 am I start my GP and wait for my car to warm up so I can defrost the front windshield my car warms up I turned on the defroster and I smell gasoline I thought oh $#!+ so I turned my car off A.S.A.P I pop the hood and to my surprise my driver side fuel rail had leaked on the supercharger and down the sides of it, so I grab a empty bottle that I had filled it with water to dilute the gasoline so I researched this problem and found some had fix and some had lost their car to fires. Good thing I took Automotive Technology classes otherwise this would be expensive to fix. Chevy dealer wants to charge me $100+ to buy the fuel and return fuel lines assembly I said "F*** that I just need O-Rings" they said "they sale it as a full assembly" so I researched again and found a part number 27478 I said to myself "hope it's the right part" good thing I get payed and have the day off on Friday. Anybody else had this fuel leak problem before?

Ive had a fuel line right before the fuel rail have a hole in it.

Gas was squirting out like a water gun. Fun times.

Glad you're taking care of the problem.

i had mine go in the bend to the fuel rail, smelt gas in the garage for 2 days before i found where it was coming from.

if it leaking out the quick release on the rail to line, you just need new o rings. you need to get fuel rated O rings too.

mine was leaking, well a drip here and then, but only when the car was off. i changed the o rings and alls good since. i did have to buy a assorted pack of O rings and match them up to the old ones for the right sizes.

i dont wanna tell anybody how i fixed mine...............................................j.................................................b lol

I bought a modified fuel rail, fuel injector O-Rings, fuel injector to fuel rail clips, valve cover breather, 3.8 Modular pulley system (plain on going smaller after getting supporting mods) and throttle body spacer from ZZPerformance plained on putting them in and I should put the coupler in to while I'm at it.

Was that a trick question, you said you researched it and found how others did it...then you ask if anyone has done it? Uh...lol

Rings
Dorman fix
Braided lines

Take your choice.

GM Claims, Sparkplug wires and leaky valve covers cause this. Sparkplug wire loction (fixed with plastic retainers) and oil seeping from the valve covers onto manifolds (manifolds would have to be way hot to cause a fire, should smoke like crazy if there is that much oil burning).

I call BS, we've seen too many people have problems with fuel lines leaking, and fuel on the hot manifolds could easily result in the above. It is rather common.

If you plan to fix yourself, make sure you do it right. Just sayin.

Because...unless you like an unmetered vacuum leak, it's of no value to you.

And that TB spacer, only benefit I've ever seen from those is a coolant leak filling your lower intake manifold and hydrolocking the engine.

Sorry..not trying to piss on your cornflakes.

I agree with you about the fires being caused by fuel leak not oil leaks. Thanks for the look out.

I hear you about the vacuum leak, I have a boost/vacuum gauge.

It's cool I'm new to modding so any input helps. I was tying to keep KR down I have a aeroforce scan gauge and seen the KR jump around a little, hydro locking not cool at all.

Take a look at your TB right over the exhaust. According to what ZZP suggests... eliminating the coolant from entering it and taking it off the manifold is going to stop if from heat soaking.

Say the engine is up to temp and you hit the first stoplight. What happens to your TB that is directly over the hot crossover pipe and the rest of your engine bay with the hot engine/exhaust in it? heatsoak.

The breather would be contradictive to how your pcm and fueling etc is setup. By adding it, you will see no benefit.
