Official "joining you" post

Sounds like a crazy improvement. I just know im going to get a ticket the first day i have my m90 on :th_laugh-lol2:

for ZZP to cover their ass they made the PCM very rich, and retarded the timing to 6* so you dont blow anything up and blame it on them.

it did run, crappy, then there was the surging issue. but i had it all straightened out. they had something in the pcm that at idle the car would be rich and command 6*, once WOT it would lean out and go to 9* of timing. that was on the L36 block before i had it tuned.

well look at it from ZZP's eyes, why sell an aggressive tune that will risk blowing the motor? everyone who bought an M90 kit would demand a new block and a refund. theyre just covering their asses

Looks damn impressive, I'm glad it worked out for you Saberwings, and I wish you best of luck with the new setup!!

I was gentle on mine the first few days as I worked out the tune.

I didn't put the belt on the M90 for 1.5 months due to a issue with the tuner, that was annoying, but when I put the belt on, I went wot within 20 minutes...... then I saw 13* of KR and didn't go WOT again for about 2 weeks...... I have actually been having good luck tuning the MAF with PE disabled, if your running to rich up top Saberwings, this seems to help.....I was hitting 100% inj. duty cycle, and now I only only hit 60% and I'm still pig rich.... With headers...... my poor motor gets so abused

I've got 42.5# injectors. Even at full throttle I'm nowhere near 100% duty cycle.

Here's the blower whine:

I'm only running 5* of WOT timing right now while I work out my fueling. But, according to my Aeroforce I could run a 14.62 @ 98MPH with only 6 lbs of boost and 5* of timing. Now imagine what I can do once I bring up the timing back to normal. :th_king-evil:

Clean looking install. Glad you're liking the supercharged setup so far.

I could've ported the heads too, but it's not necessary for what I have in mind

Sorry to pry, but mind if I ask why you wouldn't port the heads if you had the chance?
I figure if I ever have to pull the heads on mine, I would upgrade them while they're out as much as I possibly could (and hopefully go to a higher compression block).

I'm guessing you're planning on an intercooler since you opened up the top of the LIM?

Just like was said. Too expensive and not necessary for what I want. I can make up that difference with some cheaper mods down the road if I like. I'm not making a track beast, but a fun daily driver. Another $800-1k wan't worth that.

Possibly. It was cheap to have it done, and I needed a LIM anyway so paying the core worked out too.

I cleaned up my engine bay some. Loomed some of my wiring, rerouted some things, moved this or that. I think it looks a little more OEM now than previously.
