• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Seeing as a lot of you have shown interest in getting a Grand Prix Forums .net calendar made we have decided to go through with it.

This thread is for submission only. Once we receive your submissions we will then put them together and post them in a separate thread to be voted on.

Please do not post the full size version of the photo you are submitting here on this page. Try and keep it within a reasonable size so that it keeps everything neat and clean on here. Only if you get voted to be in the calendar will you be asked to submit your full size/rez version of your photo.

Requirements-

  • Your final submission picture can be no smaller than 1024 x 768

  • Please Only Submit One Picture Of Your Choice

  • Do Not Post Unless Your Submitting A Picture. Things Get To Cluttered Up If You Do

  • No trash, trash cans, scattered junk, and such in your photo please. This is a calendar. You wouldn't want to see that junk in a store bought one, and we don't want to see it in here.

  • No other vehicles in your picture. Unless it is a W-Body club group photo submission

  • No people. No pets, and please no garage/driveway pictures unless you live in a mansion on the beach or something.

  • I know not all of your have a expensive professional photographer camera. Even mine is just a cheapy from Wal-Mart. Bad quality can ruin even a great photograph. Please try to post a decent quality picture. Barrow a friend's camera if you need too.

  • Photoshop, and picture editors. All I ask, is if your submission was edited in anyway, that it not look like it's ever been touched.

  • If you have something to say along with your picture, please keep it to one sentence line only.

Deadlines, pricing, and everything else will be posted on a later date. As for now just post up the best picture you have, or get up and go take one. :D

I'll post in here and say that Street Wolf has our blessing on getting this together. I just dont have the time to put everything together and coordinate everything and since it seems there is a fair amount of interest in this and Street Wolf was willing to step up and help out I have put him in charge of this project.

Street Wolf will be the point of contact on this for any questions you may have so be kind and understanding as he is giving of his time to work on this project in the hopes that we can produce a product that will represent the community well.

are the GP's that are picked gonna be mostly modded appearance,or do us stockers with CLEAN rides have a shot also?

My contribution.
On a sidenote, I know that there is a guy fly fishing in the first one....it actually adds to the picture IMO. Since it was taken at a trout lake.

That Monte Picture is pretty bad ass!

So far votes for fly fishing and Monte, no offense to everyone else, cars look fantastic!

When do we have to have submissions in by? New paint job and possibly some awesome products... maybe I'll have a nice submission

Yea the first is better but you don't tend to notice your car, it's not the attention getter in the photo whereas the second one it is. Can I recommend trying to put your car in a bright yellowish, orange background. Try something like the browning of the leaves, and it's the perfect time to do it. Your car is blue and it looks black. I'm pretty sure the contrast colors will bring the blue out more noticeably.

I hope my advice works!

like what quacklynx said there are too many stuff on the background. i think if you do another photo shoot with less of stuff on the back ground it would make your car stand out more.
