Odd Behavior

2007 GXP OEM Calipers and Rotors not sure on Pads
So I've noticed in some weather conditions, extreme cold or amounts of precipitation my break pedal gets heavier. Fluid levels are consistent during all usages, pads are still healthy, rotors appear to still be flat with good thickness. Is there something in the ABS/Stabilitrac that causes this?

I do mean noticeably heavier, on dry/warm conditions its light 'til approximately 1/4 press, on wet/cold its essentially instantaneous.

If you are saying your brakes work much better in cold/wet you are not alone.

I am running R1 Concepts premium rotors with stop tech ceramic pads. The difference in pedal is amazing cold and wet vs dry or warm. Scottydoggs and I were chatting about this one day as he see's the same behavior on his setup which I think he said was R1 eline rotors and stop tech pads.

Yes I did mean it worked better cold/wet. I understand heat makes brake performance suffer, it just seems so much more extreme to me than I am used to.

I do not know what pads it has as they haven't needed changing yet and I bought the car with them already on. I need to do half shafts soon so I might look at changing them then.

Scott and I just joke about it. I'm in an A6 and the braking when warm/dry is pretty amazing. Add cold/wet and you'd better be careful or you might dash plant yourself lol
