Odd A/C Issue

I have a 2005 GTP Comp G. When I bought it, the a/c compressor was leaking. I changed the compressor, vacuumed the system and charged it up. Leaked out again after a few days. Found that the core on my low side line was leaking. Changed the core, vacuumed it down again and charged it up. A/C now blowes ice cold and it's not leaking anywhere. The issue I'm having is when I start the car and turn the a/c on, the compressor engages and the fans kick on high, but it doesn't blow cold. I have to shut the a/c off and wait for the compressor to disengage, and then turn it back on. Then sometimes it starts blowing cold. It's hit or miss though. Sometimes it takes a dozen times of turning it off and on, sometimes I only have to do it once. Once it starts blowing cold, it stays blowing cold. Even if I shut he car off for a short period of time and start the car back up, it still blows cold. Every time I turn it on though, the compressor engages and the fans kick on high regardless of if its blowing cold air. It's getting aggravating. It's suck a goofy problem that I'm not even sure how to google the issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't think it's the blend door. I can change it from "60" to "90" (digital climate control) and it'll blow hot air. When the compressor is running but not blowing cold air, I can just push the a/c button and it'll kick the compressor off with the blower motor still running. Then push the a/c button again to turn on (or sometimes 15 times) and then it'll blow cold. All without adjusting the temperature.

Does the light come on to indicate the AC is on? I've had issues with it and have to wiggle it press to one side to get the damn thing to turn on. But the light is out until it finally makes contact.
