OBX and DPT cheap ebay headers? How they stack up vs. ZZP?

Hey guys Im new here but i have 99 GTP with FWI. I was looking around for headers and just curious if some of these cheap ebay headers are good compared to the ZZP? If anyone knows. I plan on doing a lot of modding right now and ZZP is out of my price range cause of other mods I wish to do immediatly. Any input or advice. Thanks in advance

ZZP headers are way overpriced considering SSAC is a reputable set of headers that will show up at your door for $350. the speed daddy headers you find on ebay are the same thing as SSAC, but $220 to your door.

you make up your mind if you feel like wasting money..

Why is everyone always saying $220 shipped, I got mine last month and only paid $205 shipped,,, They are currently $170 on ebay.. great headers..

get ready to weld them though... you get what you pay for IMO. I paid more in fabricating and welding than I did for my pacesetters.

headers on a N/A are pretty much pointless... but yes they have a 3in exit... which wont really matter if its 2.5 or 3 in.... where ur gonna lose at is the primaries.. all ur low end torque will go bye bye.

headers on a N/A make the car pull evenly at all speeds... its actually a good thing for the car.

Makes it more balanced.

For 220 its worth it.

so are the reviews on zzp.com full of crap? like this one

"These headers are truly amazing. Last fall my car was wideband tuned with a gen v, xp cam, and tog headers, and all the supporting mods. We reached 18* of timing advance at WOT with a 2.7" pulley, hitting a max of 13psi. Over the winter I installed the ZZP headers and in the spring I noticed my boost had dropped to 11.5psi with the 2.7 pulley. I threw a 2.55" pulley on and to my surprise I couldn't see any consistent knock anywhere. So the ZZP headers let me drop from a 2.7" pulley to a 2.55" with 0 knock and thats comparing them to TOGS. Currently the car is running around the 14psi range depending on weather."

Mod list: Ontario Quebec Club Grand Prix • View topic - FS: 2003 Regal - 350+ whp... - $8500 obo...

2003 Buick Regal LS ($6000 two years ago)
Converted to supercharged (relocate MAP sensor, add wiring for BBV, tune), still LS tranny w/ 3.05 gearing (hours and hours of labour!)
L36 block (full rebuild - ~$800 for shortblock)
Cometic 4-layer headgaskets (.052") - brings compression up slightly, maybe 9.6:1 or so ($180)
Ported heads, stock valves (gasket matched and smoothed basically) ($0, just labour)
Overkill BBC cam (218/234, 117 lsa, .528/.507 lift) (~$600 installed, still was a deal)
Fullsize intercooler with reservior (~$800+), Ford lightning IC pump($125), aluminum rad($80), fan on rad ($60)
Ported Gen3 M90 with Northstar TB ($300), cruise still installed/working
2.6" MPS ($100) pulley installed, zero knock with 94 octane, ~14 psi (needs new belt to cure slipping, doing that soon)
Overkill Gen2 FWI ($100)
Pacesetter headers ($350), flange for 3" cutout on DP ($100), manual bolt-on cutout (could install electric, had one previously)
Full 3" exhaust ($500), shimmy 3" in/out muffler ($150), no resonator, NO drone!
Can include an un-installed trans cooler

People do run stupidly small pulleys. But that cam is not meant for an M90.
