BTW can some please explain to me how exactly it is fair to tax the rich more??? Just because they have more to give? Does the price of anything else change based on how much you make? Do they ask your yearly income when you buy milk? So why should they pay more taxes? Sounds too much like wealth redistribution to me.
 


you can't tax the entire country with a straight tax, it isn't fair. they are trying to straighten out the line.

you have to pay less PERCENTAGE of income the more you make because otherwise you're paying crazy amounts more. and without tax cuts for people that actually make tons of money the economy becomes stagnant because they aren't making "enough" to want to spend it. you cannot have a consumer based economy when no one wants to spend money.

i am part of the middle class and i say, **** the middle class. can't make the cut? work harder.
 
lol at work harder, what if your hours are maxed out at work and you only make enough to bring to the table. That's nice that you would have to work hella OT, barely enough time at home as is just to make ends meet. It's already hard enough to find a job now, that'll make **** worse.
 


Get a better job or get a second. If you have a family, is the wife working?..and if she isn't, her ass better have a damn good reason not to. No wife of mine would just sit around all day and not do something. Unless I am making millions, she is working.
 
You make it sound so easy. My uncle had trouble getting a job for 3 years and he has his Masters degree. I'm 3 months in the hole jobless right now because of some odd reason. It's definitely hard out here just to get a job that pays enough now. Minimum wage is 7.75, I can't live off that ****.
 
We're virtually the same age.

I'm in a position where I didn't need a college degree.

I make plenty of money and have room for advancement.

Banking worked for me; started in high school.

****, even tellers start at like $10-11 an hour...talk about easy street work.
 


I went from a 43k a year job to 7.25 working 65 hours at mcdonalds
I went from full benefits to would you like frys with that.

Most people flat out refuse to go work fast food. But sadly that is where the majority of the jobs are.

So saying your uncle couldn't find a job when mcdonalds will hire anyone including handicapped and special needs is just dumb. He chose not to work the kitchen because of the lifestyle he was used to. Now i know i don't know most the story but that's how it is for most middle class and up. They have to hit rock bottom to work fast food even if its good enough for their kids
 
there's always a job opening somewhere. if you're "too good" for a job then you can take your ass off the unemployment statistics because you're no longer looking or a useful member of society.

I wouldnt say "too good" more like over qualified, like me. ive worked my ass off to get where i am and im only 20, im a bmw master tech so im not going to work for jiffy lube doing oil changes
