OBAMA OR McCAIN?????

Obama is a moron, he always says one thing then he says something completly different in the next sentence. As far as Mclean he is just to old and senial, he is a moron too. They are both dumbazzes. If i had to vote id say Mclean because of his choice of VP, Sarah Palin , the governor of Alaska who did all these wonderful things for Alaska and not to mention looks dead sexy with those librarian glasses.

lmfao, well put

Well Palin may be dead sexy but she does have a huge base that is starting to come out and tell the rest of us how bad she might be. Everyone hits on this but its worth mentioning Palin was the governor of a state where the population is smaller than Detroit. Im sorry to say but no matter what side of the tracks your on you have to realize she is nothing but a political move to collect on disgruntled Clinton supporters that just want to jump to another woman cause unfortunately they just go for the thought "Hey shes a woman, I'm a woman and i can relate" even if they do end up being the better choice that wasnt the right way to pick a candidate. If you couldnt tell from my writing im def a Obama supporter....and i think the way that all of a sudden Mccain is for change after thats been a staple for Obama's bandwagon is a cheap shot. But im sorry to say this i have a feeling another republican will be in office after Bush due to this alone....... selfish democrats that feel like since there choice didnt get the nomination they are not going to vote at all.

I feel the same way about the Palin pick - "I'm an old geezer, so I'll pick someone who is young, to get the age thing out of the way, then I'll pick a woman to get the 'woman' vote." There are several other female senators that McCain could have picked that are more qualified than Palin. Two female Senators from California, one from Texas, and one from Oregon. But those would have been viewed as, "Same old politics" picks. Biden says some crazy things, granted, but picking him took care of the two biggest knocks on Obama's policies - foreign policy and experience.

I think the debates might sway some folks.

Time to stir the pot right before the first debate...

When McCain had said he wasn't going to attend this debate, Obama should have stepped up and said, "Since the VP is chosen for him or her to become President in an instant, I have spoken with Sen. Biden and we recommend that the Vice Presidential debate be held instead." It would have stolen any thunder that McCain had about suspending this campaign, and put the serious spotlight on Palin and we would really find out how ready she is.

I didn't read this entire thread because its really long but I think either way we will all be better off than where we are with the current administration.
I am going to vote mcain/milf myself.

Would your really want Sarah Palin to be our President, when McCain has a heart attack screaming at someone in 2 years?

John McCain - Integrity intact since my scandal in '89! Why pick the best qualified candidate when I can score political points instead?

I'd vote for him!

I'm not a very political person, or haven't been up until this year, but aren't there more than just these two candidates? If you don't like either of them, dont' just vote for the lesser of the two evils, look at some of the other candidates. Maybe they won't become president but you can feel good in not being one of those people that voted for whatever clown is in office screwing up our country. Also, if enough people did that it might just work out or at least send a message to the Republicans and Democrats that we are smart enought to realize there are more than two parties.

All that being said....I still have no idea who I am voting for. Too many things to still research.

there is only one other party, the neutral party which never wins lol

Okay, this just kind of proves the point I was trying to make. I decided to look up the answer to my own question and see that there are at least 4 other major candidates and are classified as 'Indenpendants'. So why not vote for them? Because they never win? Because they don't share your same views? Because they don't have any commercials or debates or appearances?

Why don't these people win? Because everyone thinks they won't so they just don't vote? Would they win if all they people who don't like the 2 main parties actually voted for the them because they best fit their ideal candidate? Who knows since most people just say, they never win so I will just vote the lesser of the two evils of the republicans or democrats. I can see where there might be the lesser of 6 evils at this point.

True change would be to go away from the 2 main parties that are always in control and have created the mess we are in because last time I checked there is a pretty good mix of repubilcans and democrats making all the decisions throughout this country, not just the president.

Like I said, I'm not a big political guy and can't stand debates because everyone is entitled to their opinion without someoone telling them they are wrong so I was just trying to think rationally and outside the box for once.

For the record, I've never voted so I can't complain about the way things are but if I had, I would have voted Bush because I thought he was a true Texas country boy but look where that would have gotten me.
