I robbed a much missed shifter off of a monte carlo Z34 at the junkyard last month.

I love it! but i have one problem. For the past month i've been trying to find a new home for the Performance Shift.

I want to steering wheel mount it, because i know that would be plausible due to the steering wheel radio buttons but i dont know anything about where those wires are or how GM remedied them being able to spin around in circles.

Any thoughts or ideas?!?!?!

I honestly don't know if it'll fir in there, and plus I think it'll be too hard to get to quickly you know.

if it was me,
i would either put it in the top cubie thing or on the panel where the ash tray is

why dont you cut off the button and crimp the wires together so its always on.....no real reason to have it off...

It really is perfect! Shift from park, the button is already pressed, shift it back, the button is de-pressed
