Not sure if this is the right forum, but where's the TCM located in an '08 Grand Prix?

I've been trying to figure out a fix for my grandkids 2008 Grand Prix, and a friend told me that if I unplug and then reconnect the tcm it may fix it's non-shifting (stuck in either park or drive right now) and the reduced power showing on it's screen. Since it won't move, I can't verify that it's in limp mode, but my grandkids told me it had been doing it before it got stuck in gear in their high school parking lot. Before I take it to the transmission shop which I'm sure will call for a rebuild, I'd like to see if either the disconnect/reconnect of, or maybe a new tcm will clear up the problem. First, I need to know where it is. I've done a search and have seen various places it may be, the first being in the bottom of the air intake box. Any help with this will really be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Lee
