Ok iv worked on just about anything with a motor chainsaws to heavy equipment when suddenlly bam ! im lost scenerio.... 99 gp gt 3800 natural
330k miles got it stuck in the snow,reving engine now this... idle problem
starts up but surges up and down for about 5 seconds then idles fine,until
i press the gas then the same thing,if im driving down the road it fails to just coast giving itself more gas kinda like 800 to 1500 rpm's so far iv replaced
the maf and the tps seems to be working fine although it was filthy so i cleaned it,forget the codes this thing is lit up like a christmas tree

If it were me id go ahead and replace the tps. Then id check for vacuum leaks.

my 98 gt with 220k did that too over the winter, it kinda fixed itself and runs fine now. maybe a vaccum line cracked?
