OK so this past weekend i was working on my homegirl's car. She has a 2000 Elantra. I did a tune up, oil change, and changed her hoses (upper, lower, and bypass) well after all of that, the car started running hot...for the life of me i couldnt figure out why. I went and replaced her tstat and the housing and the car was still running hot. Then i touched all 3 hoses and the lower radiator hose was the only one that was not hot and when i took it off again, it was dry as a bone. Does this mean that her radiator is shot? Im at my wits end here...

Trake the thermostat back out and drill a small hole like 1/16" in the face of it to let the air bubble out. I fought a kia for ever trying to bleed it till I did that.

^^That.

I do that with every tool that doesn't have a lifetime warranty or I KNOW I'm only gonna use once.

You guys are horrible. Although I should have done that with my o2 sensor socket lol. Tell em i couldn't get it to fit or somethin.

walmart takes any return. hence why i do it. i want to do it with a fender roller as well :D but autozone has been a ***** with returns with me.

LOL Thanks guys. I just bought one for the hell of it. Drilled the hole and i also needed to bleed the system. Running like a champ now!
