Hey Fred. people..where do car people meet in our area? I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out for the GP meet. As I said in a earlier post I would like to make the next get together
 


Saturday nights during the summer at the Burger King in Manassas right next to 28/234, there's an informal car show. All kinds of cars show up, folks pop their hoods. Older folks show up first, and when it starts getting dark, they leave and the tuners show up.

There is also off of Rt. 1 ... that Barbecue place across from the Valero gas station (Towards Mary Washington Hospital) has a "car show" every Friday evening. It's mostly just to show the car off, no prizes, but it is a regular thing. They're mostly oldies, and I haven't seen any GP's hanging around unfortunately, but still some nice old Camaros and what not. But GP meet wise, Deezul 'il have you covered on that.

But toward Deezul ... when does the 'lil meet start getting a bit more promising in numbers? As in the month rather. I'd love to make a drive up there, as long as it's a good turn out :P
 
There is always a turnout at BK if the weather is good. There have been 3 GP meets here and on clubgp none of them have happened. Seems to be a pattern.
 
Not promising anything this Saturday, but there's a good chance I'll be in Manassas this Saturday evening, so if I would be able to stop by. I'll have a yes or no by Friday.
 
I have guests in town this weekend, then I am heading out to Ill. to see family. Things should settle down by the end of Aug, to get into the scene and take the car to the track. Which track would you suggest?

Sumerduck is the closest track I know of. I've heard it's nice, but never personally been there.
