Hi, I'm the noob here today. Long time Pontiac owner, a couple of sunbirds, '00 Bonneville, all since sold, and currently a '2008 Grand Prix and a '69 Firebird Convertible (owned for 25 years).
I found this site while trying to get some info on my 2008. I'm having an issue with the "loose gas cap" and "check engine light". I tried checking the FAQ's section and other forums with no luck. I'm sure someone else here has had issues. I have changed the cap (twice) but the light still stays on. I'm sure that means there is a vacuum leak somewhere in the evac system. Any ideas on where to start the search will be greatly appreciated.
