Ok, hello i dont really know if this question is suppose to be in this section...but anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to swap the stock dash unit...w/ one of a different car.

For example, i've seen some people switch the dash of an Acura RSX to that of an Honda s2000 so that the speedometer and everything is all digital.

I guess basically what I'm trying to do, is make my dash look newer and cooler, would rather not buy guage faces too.

If any1 has any constructive help or info that would be great. And by the way, I dont really know the exact terminology, but I dont want to replace the whole dash board...just the part that has the speedometer, odo, gas, etc. to a newer version.

I am talking about switching the gauge cluster a different cars, preferably a much newer one. I saw one post on here, about a guy switching his stock guage cluster w/ a digital one from a Ford Crown Victoria.

i think backinblack was the one doing something with a crown vic gauge cluster a WHILE back. dont know what ever came of it though.... it might help if you tell us what year your car is. i know they make inserts or whatever for the 97-03s but i dont think they sell an all digital one. as far as the 04+ or pre 97s i have no clue.

You are probably in for a wiring nightmare to be honest. The Acura to Honda makes sense seeing its built by the same company. Their wiring diagrams I am sure are pretty close to one another's. Now for our car, I dont know what dash you would even really consider.
