Noob & Radiator Cooling Fans

Hi All,
We bought new a 1997 GTP 2 door, probably one of the earliest because we took delivery in early July of 1996. The car is still in the family, brother-in-law, and is in great shape. No rust, suspension just gone through & Serpentine belt & pulleys replaced @ 150,000 miles but is in need of some mechanical repair.

The radiator cooling fans are the immediate problem. GM has quit making the left side and is sketchy on the right. I'm sure that this has come up before & I'm hoping that someone here knows what aftermarket fans will do the job without major changes or where we can purchase original fans.

In about an hour I am about to pull my fan assembly out as the Dorman replacement died under 1 year. :(

You might want to go with OEM on this as i HATE doing the same job twice on the same car.
 
Thanks FordMan, the links are good & I think I'll hit a couple of junkyards around here. If I can find these, I'll see if I can disassemble and clean them up.

Hi Buickman,
There are no OEM's available from GM or the other sources I've tried. One side is available but the other is not. If you have a source, I'd appreciate if you'd pass it on. I asked my brother who is a "Mr. Goodwrench" and he said GM is abandoning parts for most of the older cars in the hopes it will sell more new cars. It seems they built these cars to good and they just keep running.
