Wassup yall, I just got a 04 Grand Prix Gt wit 92000 miles. I was driving a few times now and notice that there is like a whistling sound when I push the gas pedal. And then when I lift off the pedal, it goes away. Idk what it is but I wondered if I ask the forum, I could get answers.

Is it when you put it to the floor or all the time? Others are probably going to ask for more information about how and when it happens.
 
it's not even when I floor it. when I just push the paddle , it makes the noise but it's not a supercharger but the sound makes a supercharger noise

Lol I'm doing that now Bill but do you think the intake would help drown the noise cause I was gonna get a straight pipe

would that even affect the pedal when I push it ? cause when I Steer , it's doesn't make any noise

If it's low on fluid, it could. Like mine has done it if i'm a little low and I make a u turn and drive for a little bit.
 


That's not my guess, lol. PS pump will usually get louder when you turn the wheel lock to lock.

Put up a video. Or get a 3" pvc and a filter and make everything louder. :)
 


Not necessarily. My pump wouldn't make noise if it was a little low on fluid and turned the wheel lock to lock. It would only make the noise how I said in my previous reply. But now i'm kind of confused. At first you said a whistling sound and now it sounds like the supercharger whine?
