No TM to isolate KR?

I'm still seeing KR around shifts. Is it totally bad to do some running and scanning with all the shift tables in TM set to zero? To see if the KR is TM or true KR?

I heard some of the mail order PCMs do this anyway. It wouldn't be permanent, just to see. By the way, I'm not making a whole lot of power over a normal L36 (maybe 15 extra crank HP).

Well, I did it anyway. Still seeing some KR, but at least I can now be sure its true KR and not take timing away from a cell just because TM was there.

BTW, the car felt a lot like it did with a ZZP PCM on the WOT down shift. I haven't pulled the bin from my ZZP PCM (still up in my closet), but I bet their PCM uses little to no TM. :th_shakinghead2:

As the owner of a ZZP PCM, I can tell you that it doesnt, at least as far as Ive been able to tell digging around with my Power Tuner.
