No Idea What the Problem Might Be

Yeah putting it in 3rd didn't make a difference, still did the same thing. I'll check the plugs tomorrow when it gets light out.
 


You may not see the cracks tho. I put a Plog on with the plugs still in. I did it that way cause I knew I wouldnt hit the plugs and I know I didn't but BillBoost knew the plugs were cracked in 2 seconds when we chatted on the phone lol.

Can't hurt provided the parts aren't defective and they are installed correctly. I would try cleaning the MAF too with MAF cleaner only. Use carb/throttle body cleaner to clean the front and back of the throttle plate too. Use a scotchbrite pad to get it nice and shiny.

There was a shift selanoid code before with the old transmission but that's all. I was going to clean the maf also to see if that would help. Thanks again.
 
Hola friends... I've watched the first vid a bunch of times and have some ideas.

Start off with cleaning the TB and plugs/wires if you haven't done them or are unsure of them.

Now.. let's analyze the vid (Scott.. please post a pic the normal shift table for this car to back up my ramblings.)
The car is at normal/not light throttle and not WOT. Let's call it 15-30% throttle. It appears to be in 2nd gear, it shifts into third and goes directly into TCC lockup. This isn't uncommon with some mileage on these trannies. Then the TCC unlocks as the pcm senses too much load for the power it believes the engine to be making....then it appears to go directly into 4th with locked TCC when it hits ~2k at the end of the vid.

I think the tune up is the right place to start based on OP's comments about it maybe being time anyhow. If this behavior continues after the tune up, unhook the maf, start up the car and see if it's still doing it. Ignition related, MAF, MAP and TPS all affect shifting.

If my % of throttle is totally off, and % is much lower then I would be concerned as to why it's not shifting into 3rd in the low to mid 30's and into 4th in the low to mid 40's. It appears like the trans is tired and sloppy, if you treated it nicely it might last for quite some time. I limped many many miles this same way.
 
I was about 20-25% throttle. I usually drive the car nice and easy. Sometimes I'll get on it because I feel the need to use the Supercharger since I have it...mainly the reason I purchased the car last year. I'll do a tune up on it next week and clean the MAF. Pretty busy until then. Seemed like the transmission wasn't shifting at the right points after the transmission was swapped.

Will update after I clean it all up.
 


easy way to tell is if the pass side axle fit from your car in the new tranny.

iirc its not the same length nor will it fit in the tranny if its a n/a tranny.
 


Also this might help. The first time I drive it every day for the first time it goes through the gears it never does this, it shifts smoothly with no problems.
 
does it feel the same as it did before? like shift at the same rpm's feel like first gear used to feel?

if its a na tranny the gears are not the same it will kill its self some times if its not tuned for a gear change in the pcm.

often the shifts dont feel right.
 
Yes it seems like it shifts at the right times like it did with the previous transmission. Maybe it's from a regal but not the supercharged regal...I'll have to get under it and check for myself. Can it be tuned for a gear change if I take it to a shop?
