True, but running across another zr1 that thinks he has it all and blowing his doors off with a z06 would be too, but it would be hella fun either way.
 
Yeah but Vette on Vette violence is shrugged upon, we aren't hondas thinking we are all that because we can beat each other.
 
I am just saying. You know if there is some one cruisiing in a zr1 and see's a z06, the zr1 might show his @$$ just because. And then to turn around and have his butt handed to him would be killer. But, yeah, I'm not saying go out and pick on the zr1's, just kinda the what if. I have always lived by the built not bought thing. I would rather by a cheaper model and build it up for less money and have a faster car. Like ours, yeah I could have bought a faster car, but where's the fun in it.
 
Yep but there is a limit on the prices if you go by the built not bought. For example you mod a cheaper car to beat a lambo/porsche etc and you whomp him in a race. You guys come to a stop and all the guys are like man that was awesome. But every girl is looking at the ferrari going "DAMN THIS GUY HAS MONEY". There is a point when it is no longer about who is faster but who has the better status symbol
 
That could go both ways. I have heard alot of chicks say that a guy with an expensive type car is compinsating for something else compared to a guy that has built his car to what it is. But, like I said, it's all in what your going for.
 


if a girl is diging you because you have money, you probably woulden want them anyways. i wouldent. and yea sure have an expensive car but when you get meet up at the track or a redlight and you see nothing but tail lights, how special does your expensive car make you feel then???

to me a cars badass'ness is determend by its raw power and capabilities, not price. if i were to build a camaro out to run the hell out of z06 the camaro would be badder all day everyday no matter what. shiny flasy cars dont mean squat unless your gonna just cruise around in them with some shinny wheels or something.

remember, all the bull**** stops when the right foot drops :D
 
Yeah but the point I was trying to make was yes us car guys appreciate a faster car over an expensive one any day. But to everyone else it's nothing special
 
True, until the expensive car get's left on the line. But , you have to be in that situation to show it off.
