No Headlights or Dash Lights!

My friends 01 GTP headlights and dash lights just suddenly do not come on. The radio and hvac display also do not light, the radio display only lights up in accessory mode. I checked both underhood and gloxe box fuses and they all tested ok. The contacts on the headlight switch looked fine and the parking/corner lights work as well as the tail lights. On a possibly related note the speaker volume goes in and out intermittently. Does this sound like and ignition switch problem? How should I further diagnose this issue?
 


A circuit breaker feeds power to the headlights. I believe the instrument and dimming circuit are fused after the circuit breaker that feeds the heads.

Have you checked for power coming in from the breaker?
 
I am having the similar problems in my car... 02 GTP, the auto headlights intermittently work, when they don't, not even the drl's come on. when I flip the switch, neither the dash lights or tail lights come on.... the most common response I have been getting is either the light switch or the ignition. Anyone have further input?
