no cat with headers question?

Hey guys I was wondering what the personal opinion was about running a cat with headers. Take into consideration I live in MI and have no worries of emission testing. Is is noticeably louder without it? I'm just asking because I just put on a 3" zzp catted downpipe on my regal and am really reconsidering doing some ebay headers (possibly just speed daddy's).
 


lol the sooner I find headers for a price that could be around what I paid for the downpipe (got it barely used as the guy also switched to headers and I've also only had it on for about a month lol) the sooner I can sell it.
 
There is a difference. The best way to know if you are happy with the sound level is to do it and know that you can get a high flow cat within a week.

The cat to me is a noise reducer for sure.​
 
well the highflow cat currently on the downpipe is welded on so i can't really take apart my exhaust without cutting lol and i mean i drive without a resonator and it doesnt really bug me (maybe the neighbors when i floor it on our wide open stretch of road :) lol
