Check your vacuum lines as well. Most commonly people will "pop off" the vacuum tee on the front of the LIM under the snout of the supercharger. if its popped off, reinstall, and secure with a zip tie. Also check for cracks or tears, as with a 1997, the rubber and plastic is aged, and gets brittle over time. If its damaged, you can go to any parts store, and in the help section they have plastic vacuum angles, and tees in a package, a mixed assortment. Find the one thats a good size you need, and some scrap vacuum line from the "scrap bin" in the back of the store (they will just give you some scrap if they have what you need) and BUILD your own replacement vacuum tee and secure with zip ties. Thats a lot better and cheaper than a GM replacement, because they wont just sell that rubber tee, they make you buy the entire vacuum assembly
