No boost gauge

Hey Gentlemen, I have a regal with the l67 and I just did high ratio rockers. After buttoning it up I realized The dic isn't showing any boost. I checked all my vacume lines and it feels like the car is indeed boosting but no matter how much whine it shows no boost. Car was fine before the rockers. I initally thought vacume line but I don't see any nipples uncovered. What do you guys think?

At the back of the engine, just above the rear valve cover is a sensor on a bracket. This is the MAP sensor. Ensure it's hooked up to vacuum and it's electrical connector.

No boost 99% of the time is a sign of a vacuum leak...so check all of the "T" fittings and MAP sensor connection like Bill mentioned.

A simple way to find a quick leaky area is to take some good old choke/carb cleaner or starting spray and hit the "T" fittings and connectors, make sure the car is running, if the rpms raise up, you have a leak :th_winking:

Thanks Bill, Blue, and TLS. I'll check the vacuum system again. Bill, does the map have to be oriented a certian way because I had to cut the bracket to get my vc off (bolts were rounded off). I have the sensor zip tied now. Let me know. Thanks, gentlemen

the sensor just needs to be there and hooked up electrically and to vacuum/boost. it can be oriented however you want.
