Please advise.

I just received the Thrasher core today and noticed that the core has some issues. Your post originally stated that it is brand new, never installed yet the inside of the core is rusted and has some type of white stuff inside (which I am assuming the aluminum that has oxidized. I am not claiming that you lied about it being brand new but its obvious that there is some explaining to do.....

I am posting this on here because people need to see this and how unprofessional you acted while I was inquiring about my tracking information that I've waited a week (July 27th) to receive.

I hope that you'll be working this out with me as anyone else here would expect the same.

yeah^^hes right^^..this thread wont last long
but to the point, couldnt that brown stuff just be oxidization from where it sat for a while?
 
stuff oxidizes, it could be brand spankin new. but if it sat on a self or not dehumidified storage yea it will have rust or oxidation
 
shouldnt have made this public. like every other thread lke this, keep it private.

I didn't want to make this public because business matters between two people should remain so unless all other avenues have been exhausted. -- I should not have to explain myself to anyone BUT the buyer.

Thanks for the support though guys. I agree that this shouldn't have been brought out for everyone to eyeball, but we are here, and i'll give a response EVERYONE can see.

I bought the core brand new and polished back in january and had it tested for leaks as a precaution. -- My guess, is some fluid stayed in the core for a time after and eventually evaporated, leaving behind said residue.

It was NEVER installed or ran in a setup. Let me make that perfectly clear.

As far as those comments that were posted below?

I posted those in the shoutbox in a joking manner. Some consideration could have been given to me about asking whether i was joking or not, though plainly obvious it is that i was. -- No one had to hound me to send him a tracking number.

I found the receipt for the Tracking number just last night in one of the cars i drive regularly (4), And my browser does not automatically notify me of PM's either.

Not that those are in any way excuses or to be used as excuses for not providing the tracking number sooner.
 


Bottom Line: I am looking out for myself and my own interest in ensuring things get resolved. Since I've bought alot of parts used in the past, I've had experiences where if people take a long time to respond, then its a red flag in my book which is why I posted here. Nixon is trying to resolve things with me and that is all I am asking for.
