Nitrous wet kit install and activation

Wondering who's got a nitrous kit and how are they activating it. Running it on a TPS switch and just going all in at wot or boost reference progressive controller and ramping it in? Button activated? Also where is the fuel supply coming from? Using a stand alone tank and pump? Thanks!

The zex kit I ran used a TPS switch. I set up a second stage on a progressive controller, but never used it.

For the fuel supply, I just used the test port location on the fuel rail. Later, I went to a standalone system.

Where you spraying in 1st or just 2nd and 3rd? What kind of pump were you running when it was tapped into the rail? Also what type of fuel?

I sprayed right off the line. 1st-3rd. You're going to need some traction though if you plan to spray in 1st.

I ran the stock fuel pump. I ran e85 for a little while. Most of the time I ran c16. Once in awhile vp110. I would have ran e85 more, but my fuel pump would have never kept up when I started running bigger shots.

Word. I'm running e85 now. I have a 340lph and a hot wire kit so it (hopefully) should keep up with a 100-150 shot. My setup is pretty basic right now, 2.8, ported heads, polished gen v, overkill sbc cam, headers, e85, built trans. So probably barely at 300whp. I was looking at a progressive controller to bring the shot in slow at full boost but they are pricey. The last car I ran a shot on was my ls1 240sx and that was only from rolls

I don't spray nitrous but I do spray water/methanol and the controller is progressive, probably worth the extra money to get a progressive controller. it's based on boost, I have mine set to start at 10 psi and max at 12 psi

If you're not going to run slicks, you probably shouldn't spray until you hit 2nd gear. I'd save money on a progressive controller in that way.

You should have enough pump for at least 100 shot with that 340 I would think.

I plan on monitoring fuel pressure but the same type of pump handled over 450hp on my GN so it should handle my gs with a 100 shot no problem
