Hey all -
Been lurking for awhile now and I just bought a 04 Special Edition so I though I'd join and get some ideas on what to do to it.

Window tint is already scheduled and will be done in 2 weeks and debadging will be done shortly as well.

Thinking of getting inlays but am undecided on which color, suggestions? I was thinking maybe black inlays and getting black grilles.

Why's my car have the Special Edition badges on it then? - Not trying to be a jerk, serious question.

previous owner bought one and threw it on lol, nice car tho, but needs to be dropped and new rims

only had 1 previous owner that bought it new from dealer, so it must have been something the dealer threw on.

Thanks - hoping to lower and get new rims one of these days

There is actually scroll a little bit more than half way down the page.

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix 4dr Sdn GTP Options & Packages-Vehix

Cool to know that there is one, but his clearly is not the one described - the one described is the '06 SE package.

This car has '01-'03 ('04?) SE 16" x 6.5" chrome wheels (yuck), SPO grill, SE floor mats, the standard front and rear lower valences painted body color (always nice, but I don't recall the factory doing that), SE badges (in legitimate locations), metallic door handle inserts (a crowd pleaser), SPO spoiler (top notch).

It lacks sexy 06 SE wheels, SE lower side skirts, SE front and rear lower valences, and SE hood louvers. This might just be SE in name. The only way to know is to check the RPO, now that I think of it.

Thanks for the link, I'll try and check that out soon. I'm not a fan of the chrome wheels either, think they would look good plasti-dipped, or just look for a different set?

it is a 04 special ed.

they combined parts from other units and called it SE.

clean looking car..

in the door panels is it cloth or leather? just curious.

as for stuff to do? Tint, new HU, replace speakers.. then personalize.
