New work bench

I wanted a work bench in my garage so I finally got around to building it. Don't mind the mess. I'm trying to sell some of it for real cheap just to get it out of there. Plus I live in an apartment so not much room. My dad and I built one just like this years ago, but I left the one bottom side open to put the black containers in. Cost about 70 bucks in supplies. Also in the picture is my new Craftsman ball bearing top chest I got for Christmas. Now I just need the bottom roll away.

YA a few hard days cleaning and organizing it should be usable Its a small 2car garage and as is i can barely get the gp in it

garage = the cars home. not another storage space. i hate when people use garages as storage and park outside.

Alot of it i am storing for my mom cause she moved and isnt ready for it the i have a bunch of misc tools chop saw table saw and that kinda stuff plus we just moved so i havent unpacked all our crap yet there is a bunch of junk though just have to go through it. and until now havent had that much time

I agree this house is the best thing i have bought for the gp the other house we own Doesnt have a garage at all or carport
It is basically just getting it cleaned out and not letting the wife put crp in there Its my cars home damnit

who wants to clear snow off their car everytime it snows? who wants thier car getting rained on everytime it rains? who wants their car outside to get stolen or broken into all the time?

i am not one of those people.

I live in farm land its way dusty durning the summer, and in the winter its icey and cold I like a warm and clean car so the garage is its home
Its nice to walk out to the car start it wait a few min and go rather then start the car scrap the ice let it warm up and go
If the housing market ever goes up im even considering turning the garage into a 4th bedroom and building a bigger garage next to it so i can fit both my cars in it

Exactly. Garage is for the vehicles. If you want storage, get a shed or a storage unit. I have a heater in my garage, too. Nothing like getting up on a cold morning with a foot of snow and having the cars clear and at a balmy 50 degrees!

I don't have a heated garage, but mine stays right around 40° when it is in the teens outside. Not bad. A couple days last year it got down in the single digits and some below zero for a couple days in a row, and even then, the garage never got below freezing.

My car isn't a ferrari, no reason to store it inside the garage.

even if it were plastic will do just fine in south beach however those up in north contry who see changing seasons like a bedroom for the car. back to original post.... nice work bench $70 in materials...mostly pine or did you go with treated for the footings. Once my daughters moved out I converted her twin bed frame into a wicked bench in the basement cave. some 4x4's and plywood....you're bench is sharp.
