hi all.i just have a questions.i just bought four factory wheels off a 2003 chrysler lhs.now i try to put these on and wont work on the front.they wont go on period.so im wondering if i should get wheel spacers or try to put a front brake setup on off of a bonneville or something of that nature?thanks in advance.

2003 LHS? I thought they stopped making those in 2001? Not nitpicking, just trying to find the correct specs for those wheels. 300M is the same. 71.5 hub size compared to the GPs 70.3,

Bolt Pattern & Offset:

Stock bolt pattern: 5 x 114.3mm (4.5in)
Offset: +38mm

Wheels:

Stock 99 w/ PHG: 16 x 7 -- Silver painted or chrome 15 spoke Medallions
Stock 99 w/o PHG: 17 x 7 -- Silver painted or chrome Razorstars
Stock 00 w/ PHG: (early) 16 x 7 -- Silver painted or chrome 15 spoke Medallions
Stock 00 w/ PHG: (late) 17 x 7 -- Silver painted or chrome Razorstars
Stock 00 w/o PHG: 17 x 7 -- Silver painted or chrome Razorstars
Stock 01-02 17 x 7 -- Silver painted or chrome Twin-Six spoke
Stock 03-04 17 x 7 -- Silver painted Twin-six spoke; Chrome clad 10 spoke optional
Special 02-04: 18 x 7.5 -- Silver painted 15 spoke
Special 03-04 (optional) 17 x 7 -- Chrome Twin-Six spoke

best info I could find on a 300m site, their knowledge base is for premium members only, lol. not too sure why they wont fit your car. a photo or even a pic from the web would help alot. Or as Bio suggested, specifics to your problem.

But I will say this, they have some good looking factory wheels, all things considered.

Are these the rims that you're talking about?

Just looking at the back of the rim I can see there is not enough space to clear a Grand Prix caliper.

You'll definitely need wheel spacers to fit them. Not sure how they'd look on a Grand Prix though.

"spacers would make them work, depending on how the inside of the rim is"

still would like to see which wheels he got but that photo explains alot.

well right now im running 16'' intrepid rims witch is the same bolt pattern as the 300m and i have no problem and i got a set of 18'' of 300m special for next summer, what im saying is that i dont need no spacers,

On those Chryslers, the caliper bracket sits inward from the mounting surface of the rotor. Therfore, even a wheel with a completely flat mounting surface will not rub the caliper bracket. On a lot of the FWD GM cars, the caliper bracket sticks out farther. Depending on the design, some wheels will fit, some will not. I had a set of 20" wheels that fit fine on my 300M but, I sold them to a friend with a 01 Impala and they didn't work correctly on the front. The caliper bracket was digging into the rear of the wheels near the center. Like others have said, adapters will fix that issue.
