• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New Tune

depends on the mod. As a general rule when you drop pulleys and mess with the Throttle body or injectors

Thats what i was thinking. Getting all the parts I need to mod all at once(180 t-stat, CAI, Headers, 190.1 rocker, wires and plugs). I also need to know best pulley for these mods. I will be pulling motor and trans out, rebuilding trans too with Triple Edge Performance new complete kit. Will post pics and video. Build will start the end of Feb.

Honestly...you'll kick yourself for not camming it while the motor is out...its basically the same price as rockers since your yanking the motor anyways.

Best pulley to start with really is always a 3.4" or so...but you NEED a way to scan for knock, example...an Aeroforce gauge.

Thanks will add to list. I have all the tools needed to do any mods. My younger brother is a mechanic at a chevy dealer for the last 23 years.

Well...you can't do both cam AND rockers unless you offset them.

Get an XP or S1X cam...also...click the link in my signature.

Adding an Aeroforce gauge to my list. The cam i will think about. My bad. I have been reeding post ( modding a 3800) for a few weeks now. Just want to get it right the first time (like that will happen). Great job on that post. Helped me alot.

May have my brother tune it at the dealership he works at. if not I'll look you up. We need to get jersey people together for a cruz some saturday in the spring.

I'd rather have Erik do it than let your brother IMO...Erik tunes a lot...he's really good at what he does in the area and knows the platform...just because your brother works at a dealership 99.9% of the time doesn't mean he can TUNE a car...maybe do a TUNEUP...follow?

^^Agreed...get all your drunks in a row.

Or ducks.

However that works. Anywho...yes...ZZP MPS is the way to go...also very easy to find people shelling out used pulleys on teh cheap.
