• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Well I got her home. Here us a little background. I was told about this car by a buddy. Story is the car is (was) a one owner car. Lady was driving it, got a bad shake up front. Was told it was a front strut. So her old man jacks up the front pulls the strut and can't figure out to to put it back together. Claims its outside his realm of automotive intelligence lol. I'm not sure what the issue was. They had bought a set of the preloaded Monroe strut/springs. So the car sits with 118k miles on it for 8 months. They decide they are tired of looking at it so for 500 bucks and 30 min of wrenching the car is on my trailer. Along with 300 bucks in parts.

Now to the ugly..... car has maybe 4 quarter size hail dents. The back bumpers clear coat has bubbled (almost looks like it was burned) the rear passenger window falls (thus the speed tape) and I don't think the strut was what was causing the original shake. The CC boot on the passenger side is torn and was hanging unsupported for the 8 months she was apart. I've never delt with a front wheel drive car before so I don't know....but with everything back together there is about .5 inch of movement on the tire. Hopefully that's the CC joint. All in all the car needs a good wash wax Vaccum and shampoo. Rear window rework brakes and a couple tires but I think for a grand or so she should (hopefully) be rolling down the road

Sorry the pics suck been in the garage with crappy light

thats what im hoping. at $50 bucks a pop its not a big deal. after reading around in here im seeing some more things ill prob go ahead and replace while im there. ive yet to drive the car more than about 30 feet and on a trailer. hopefully the motor/trans are in good shape like i was told. the tank will need to be dropped and cleaned with that e-10 **** sitting in there for as long as it has.car looks like it should be fun to drive. i know yall are sure proud of them. ive owned 3 pontiacs and have been pretty happy with all of them. hope this will be a fourth

putting a GP and a mustang in the same garage? what has this world come to? lol

looks like itll be a nice project for you. hope you can learn to love it!

Dont drop the tank, alot of times the straps will break.

Pull the carpet back up by the rear seat from in the trunk, and there is a access panel to get at the fuel pump, disconnect the lines and take the snap ring off and pull the pump and suck out all the gas.
