Ok im a NEW grand prix 97 se owner. :th_king-evil: sooo of course ima upgrade my sound system. i already know what i want but have a couple of questions. the head unit im looking at is Dual XDVD1170 in Dash 7" Touchscreen DVD MP3 WMA Car Stereo Receiver Head Unit | eBay (dual XDVD1170 in dash 7" touch screen). The problem i think i may face tho is the vents in the car. im feel like the screen will hit it when it pops out. im also plaining on istalling an equalizer (like this Cadence CEQ-773 (CEQ773) 7 Band Paragraphic Equalizer Crossover) so i would like room for both of these with a factory look. i didnt know if any one has done this before and could help me. Thanks :th_thumbsup-wink:

I think you can buy a mounting kit that sticks out further to begin with. I dont really know how you could go about putting them both in or how tacky it might look.

i had put one those duals in my 97 and i had to custom fit the bracket so it wouldnt hit, i used couple washers so it would stick out just enough for it to have clearance, and after that was stolen i purchased an ebay single din with a 7 inch screen that just hung down, likeed it much better and the fitment was better than the flip out. so you could have the eq on top with this since i wanted to do that already but ended up not haveing all my equipment before i sold the car. since there is a din and a half in there if you eq is .5 din you could slide the unit down or up . and if you want a deck for under 200 ill let you know which one i got, all the bells and whistles. gps, back up came, time alignment. pretty nice deck for china
