New top-swap...6 deg. Knock at WOT

Aight car guys...The newly top-swapped GT on a 3.4 pulley and headers running 93 read 6 deg. knock at WOT tuners for some reason wouldn't read RPM, Boost, A/F, gear, trans temp, and injector pulse width. Other than at WOT, she runs fine. Were thinking is has something to do with Air/Fuel, but not sure on anything yet.....ANY IDEAS????????

Also an S2IC kit it attached but not running yet, waiting on a IC pump to come in the mail.

to big of pulley to start with.

you are on a high comp block.

bump to 3.8

headers arent even enough for a 3.4 on a LOW comp block.

I had a 3.6, but we couldnt get the dam belt over the pulley, thought it says a 685 should fit over a 3.6

you need stock pulley 3.8" size, nothing else.

the intercooler should let you run a 3.4, but you most likely have almost ruined it by running without coolant in it. Those cores are not designed to handle the 300+ degree temps that the blower outputs.

The IC is fine. its filled with coolant and i havent put hardly any miles on it since i live 2 miles from my job.

Ouch, never go WOT without an intercooler pump going. Not good. Who did the tuning? hit up Zach Brunsink on my facebook, he did the tuning on my IC set up and I run a 2.8 with my XP cam and see 0 knock and she runs damn good.

Knock only registers at WOT, which was once and hasnt been at WOT since...computes just fine my friend.

then don't worry about it.

but ask yourself what's the point of even having the top swap if not using the power.

Didnt know was the knock from the pulley or something else, but now I have an idea.
