Whats up guys? Just bought an 01 Gtp sedan, my first S/C'd car and love it so far. Its not very fast but i def. see the potential.
Back in 03 I was heavy into modding cars and I had a 02 z24 cavalier and learned from scratch about engines and such. Honestly I really had a great time with it. Of course I was a kid and had no clue what fast was and thought My 15.5 in the quarter was amazing. LOL. We all start somewhere right?
Bought a Cammed 95 5.0 mustang after that and blew the motor right before i joined the Airforce and really havent thought about modifying anything until now.
So i guess it begins again.
Just ripped out the airbox and made a HAI. Sounds pretty sweet, but no extra performance noted.
Going to change spark plugs to probably 606's for now
Next is a scan gauge ( ughhhh.. I dont want to spend the money but i know i need it) any suggestions on where to buy on the cheap?
Then onto headers, a pulley drop and some sort of tune to go along.
Anyway Ive done alot of reading on the site and appreciate all the info, It seems I can safely hit 13's without nitrous-(never been a fan) for under $1000!
hopefully I will be able to contribute as I get a grasp on the L67.
BTW- Anyone near Richmond VA?
