Hey all, just bought a 97 GTP sedan with 142k on it. Im not new to the world of w-bodys as my first two cars were 93 lumina euro sedan and a 92 lumina Z34. I jumped over to the j-bodys for a few years and still have my 2003 cavfire as my DD but I wanted a project to fix up and mod out with my sons. I liked the idea of a supercharged 3.8 as the starting point, I am very familiar with gm v6 engines so I have lots of experience tearing them down to repair leaks and whatnot. I will upload some pics and make a sig and stuff soon, look forward to chatting with you all.
 


gtp2.jpg brought it into the shop today and finished checking it over. I found out the passenger side axle seal was leaking so 6$ later and no more trans fluid leak. Imma need 2 new outter tie rods, front sway bar links and some motor mount love soon. Since its not my DD im in no rush to do those yet, however this weekend i might debadge it and give it a good cleanup and detail job.
