Hi everyone. Just picked up a 2005 Black Comp G with 35K miles on it. Car is in great shape and I will be starting some light mods. I used to own a 98 GTP with a best 1/4 of 13.0 @ 108 mph on street tires. 1.9 rockers, 3.0 pulley, headers, DHP, MSP CAI, custom DP no cats, and 50 HP Shot Nitrous. I have learned that the L32 and Gen V blower are not as receptive as my old GP when it comes to the basics like the 3.4 pulley. I am guessing it is because of the drive by wire, MAF, and more efficient blower. I look forward to working on my new car and learning from all of you as far as past experiences.

Thanks
Rich

Hello! Sounds like a nice car, you should post pics :) And the only difference is that you dont need to drop pulleys as far because the gen V is more efficient like you said, which isnt a bad thing.

Just got some wheels and wanted to post a pic of the car. I have more pics in the wheel section of the forum.

Thanks!

Comp G = win
Wheels = win

you got a good start so far

3.6 pulley is like having a 3.4 on your old GTP...you can get to a 3.5 with your old mods on your current one if you do the samething.

Thanks Drunkie and may I add that you have a gorgeous car yourself.

I wasn't going to go as far as my 98 GTP but you know how that goes. I'm going to do at least those mods with the possible addition of an IC.
