Hi all, just picked up a '96 grand prix with a 3.1 for $500 (140,000 miles)and although it runs good it has a couple of issues one being that the passenger door won't open from the outside. The previous owner said it will open sometimes but not always; any guidance on this one would be appreciated as well as any tips.

get the door open pull of the panel, reattach rod to outer door handle

open the door from the inside and then adjust the hanle linkage. you need to take off the small pannel in the inside of the door jamb. ive had to do that on both of my doors.
