well today my mom(im only 15) bought me my first car(2000 gp gt) as an early bday present. it runs great and im really pleased with it. there are two small blemishes, one on the front bumper from a trailer hitch and the other a dent on the passenger door from ???. Also, somehow moisture got into one of the tail lights

really? on another thread someone just said i can take it out clean it and then find the hole, patch it and reseal it?
if not my mom will help me buy new lights :p

luckily i have been saving up for a while and i have around $600 and im planning on getting a job when im 16. i'm thinking about blacking/smoking out the taillights, will the light be okay if it goes unsealed?

they will be fine go to autozone or advanced get its called VHT taillight spray its really easy fine sand the tails a bit and spray away til your disired tint level let dry and shoot them with clear coat really easy have fun man!

you'd better be sickin' yer mom's duck. what a nice lady. my first car was a 86 Chevette with no driver's side floorboard and rusted out brake lines. this was 5 years ago. certainly i replaced the brake lines, yet the floorboard was reminiscent of the flintstones.

as far as the taillight fog goes, you can bake it for 10 min. at 200 degrees in the oven and once the moisture is dried up you can use silicon in any area where the seal is broken

really spray is good? i saw someones car who us spray and it looked like **** it looked like spraypaint. Also i have been doing a lot of stuff around the house for my mom, but if my grades slip im ****ed, it also only has 30k miles

use the spray tint its called vht nightshade just do light coats and do how ever many you want depending on how dark you want them. i had the same moisture problem

welcome to the forums. i agree, tint the tails and dont worry about the moisture, thats what everyone else does
