New to GM!

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd post and say that I recently picked up a 2000 GP SE. Nothing special for sure but I had to get something that was better on gas for my commute than the Durango I was driving.

Out of the 12 cars that I have owned in my life this is my first non-mopar product. I am a die-hard mopar fan but since they can't ever seem to make something that gets good gas mileage I decided to move on to the next best thing for my taste and preference.

The GP may not be a gas sipper but it's getting 10mpg better than my truck did and that's a good thing with my 70 mile round trip daily commute and $4/gallon gas.

I've always followed forums for cars that I own because I like to do all my own work and what better place to find out how to fix something than from people who have actually experienced it.

I look forward to learning about the GP and maybe posting some of my own knowledge.

Thanks all!

I'm not sure anyone will ever change my mind about my passion for mopar products (a family full of GM people have tried for years) but I do have a newfound respect for GM products.
