• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

new tips

White ligthning what did you use to polish your tips? I used some stainless polish and cleaner from my work and a green scratch pad.

I have a large bench/post mounted buffer I use to polish metal with. Used 4 different wheels and compounds to get the finish I was happy with.

If you don't want to spend any federal reserve notes, go to autozone or O'reillys and rent a tail pipe cutter. I used that when I was looking for tips at the junkyard. I cut them off of a Monte Carlo, really clean cuts. Such art. It's really not that hard to use, but I spent like an hour trying to cut the tip off, because I'm a dumb butt and I was using the tool wrong :P There's enough room to use the tool, you just got to lay down on the ground. I laid on a door panel I found. Keeps the rocks from going all over the place. And when you're done, take it back and get your deposit back. It's fun to use.
edit: link to the tool. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/ac...pe-Cutter/_/N-2646?itemIdentifier=111609_0_0_

I've used a tail pipe cutter when I was fixing my sd headers I have after spending a hr trying to get some pipe cut even tried 2 different ones. Only thing it was good for was etching out a nice even line all the way around.Pulled out the grinder instead...easy peazy

Yeah... It was a pain. Tbh I had a cordless sawzall that I bought at habor freight for like $30 with a battery. I used that to cut one of the tips off lol
