New TIps Problem

Got a question I got my new tips but they are 2.25" inside diameter but the old ones and 2.25 OD. Can I just clap them on the out side or do I have to have them Welded on. it does not seem that it would be secure that way. How does everyone do it?

So I should Probly wait till I get my new mufflers

Yeah, wait till you get the new mufflers and have them welding on at that time, cost aroung $15.00 at most muff shops...
