I put Moogs on the 01 and they were fine. They will settle in. Still havent figured out who makes them for Moog....

That 4003 is shipping Just Suspension the same guys as KYB Outlet that got really bad reviews....see if you can get the 4003 from KYB or amother Amazon seller.

my silver 01 has yellow billstien struts and i would have loved to get a set for the 97 instead of the moogs but they are pricey.
 


I looked for Bilstein, here is what it says when I searched their product catalog:

"Thank you, your search will affect future product development at BILSTEIN. Unfortunately, at this time we do not make any products for this vehicle."

Same with Tokico.

I just tried putting this one on but I it's not fitting. Notice how the strut is rotated way to far to the right compared the the mount that is Strait? Is there any way I can pivot either the strut or the mount to get it Strait?

Everything went well! Figured out the crooked strut. Night and day difference. I don't feel every single crack in the road. Now I just need to wait for my passenger rear to come in still. Took about 5 hours taking my time.. Haha. With lunch. And one mess up of taking off the rear passenger strut off and noticing I took off the wrong one so I needed to put it back on and move to the driver side haha. But overall good experience.

4004 is drivers rear. Yes you can rotate the spring as you dound out. Hope that last one shows up!

I did that last winter ! I have the doorman sway bar and 97-03 lcas

And it's funny you point that out. Becuase I was re greasing the ball joint and the rubber is already torn. Less than five thousand miles and it's torn
