New Spoiler Vendor





IIRC some of the aftermarket spoilers sucked in terms of fitment, pretty uneven gaps running along the trunk-line. You might want to check on their fit quality first.

I have some information any potential buyers may be interested in, turns out that the GEN1 knockoff is not a knockoff after all, see my email correspondence with spoiler express and Dallas Automotive Restyling.

I purchased one of your spoilers through Spoiler Express for my GTP. I was very impressed with the quality and color match until I installed the spoiler. The rear of the spoiler (taillight side) fit extremely well. The thin side (rear window) was totally the opposite. Once mounted there is a large gap between the spoiler and the trunk lid. There have been other people having the same problem on the forum I belong to. I have posted pictures but not made any comments about the fitment of the spoiler on the forum yet. I have determined that I can drill and add four more self tapping screws to pull this part of the spoiler flush. I believe that your mold needs to be revised. I choose your spoiler over the still available SLP spoiler mainly because of the pre-painted option. If I would have known of the fitment issues, I would have chose the other way. I hope this problem can be addressed.

In my reply I mentioned that their instructions (DAR) should be more model specific like stating that you will have a gap, but you can tighten the bolts without fear of pulling out of the fiberglass because of the internal metal structure. I also stated that I would hope that the hole placement could be improved upon.

I would just like to note that not only did Spoiler Express offer the best price for the Gen1, their support has been excellent in this matter.

That is the Gen 1

It uses stock holes, it's not perfect but no holes need to be drilled

I would grind off the points of the screws though because if not careful they can come close to going through the spoiler
