• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New site missing a link on mobile.

I break things.
So I'm usually on an actual computer when I get on GPF, but I do sometimes poop and I take my phone instead of a laptop.

The new mobile site does look much better than the previous iteration, but there is no "Full Site" link at the bottom like the old mobile site.

It's only a minor inconvenience, but when using a mobile browser, I have to constantly click "request desktop site" in order to see the chat box. With the old site, I just had to tap the "full site" link once for it to automatically default to the desktop site every time.

It would be nice to have that link at the bottom of the mobile site again. Even if it's just on the main forum page, it would make GPF-ing while pooping so much better. :th_thumbsup-wink:
 


I had to switch to a different phone, so now every time I get on with my phone it auto defaults to the mobile style, and I prefer the desktop site.

It used to be just fine, even after the switchover... But now I can't even get the chat to work on mobile, it's just blank.
 
ive got the direct link saved as a short cut. and its saved in my favs. im on a chrome browser so it syncs up with my pc. i recall once having to hit view full site, never seen it again.
 


FWIW that’s how I get to the chat box on my phone also... it was a downside to the new mobile layout we are using.
 
I can see the chat box, I can see who's in it, but I can't see the actual chat. It just has the little spinning grey circle next to the little green refresh button.

If there's a way to look at an archive of the old mobile layout, you might be able to just copy how it was done before...
