new shoes?

I'm in the market for some new shoes on my '01 GTP. I need something affordable because I'm starting college. The GTP is bronze metallic so I'm looking for dark grey or alloy (like the stock wheels). I also want a more aggressive stance like where the tires would be flush with the fenders and I'm not sure on the size for that haha. Thanks for any suggestions or opinions!

If you want flush, do a little fender work and go for 18x9 +30. Its not too aggressive and a lot of people on here have similar setups with mustang wheels. It looks good.

www.tirerack.com has some good info. I run 245/45/18 tires and I think the rims are+30 or +35 offset on a stock saggy suspension with no issue or complaints.

This pic is from a couple years ago. The white car is compleatly stock with newer OEM springs and the red car is on 235/50/18 tires and saggy old springs. Someone else will have to chime in if you want lower.

stick with 18s if you want to do the summer/winter wheels setup. 17s just aren't big enough to give that punch of awesome you're looking for.

and i'd suggest something like an 18x8.5 +35mm wheel with a 245/45R18 tire to get a little aggressive, but still stay worry free with rubbing. unless you're comfortable with rolling the fenders, then an 18x9 +30mm wheel with the same size tire would be a little more towards the look you want.

if i were doing it again (knowing how wheels fit on this car and what i can do with fenders and alignment), i'd be going for something 18x10 +20mm or so.
